The Sea Containers Building is home to multiple companies, filling over 300,000 square feet worth of workspaces. The building sits on the Southbank of the River Thames in London, between the Tate Modern and Oxo Tower. BDG architecture + design and Matheson Whiteley Architects collaborated to create an innovative and flexible approach to the modern workplace.
We were tasked with creating a dynamic and engaging range of artwork bespoke to the building, that reflected each company’s philosophy and values.
In addition to the artwork, we developed a wayfinding scheme for the building inspired by the golden age of advertising. The concept celebrates creativity and craft and turns each lift lobby into another environment to explore on the building’s art trail.
