Studio 7 in New York
We headed over to New York last month to host our first US Studio 7 event. We teamed up with New York-based Con Artist Collective to present, ‘How To Do Your Thing’; a discussion panel and Q&A on challenging the traditional art world. Con Artist is one of New York City’s largest art collectives with over 500 members running regular socials/workshops/group exhibitions out of their 3000 square foot artist-run shared studio and gallery in the heart of the Lower East Side.
With brand new artwork by Adam Lucas (aka Hanksy) on display in the gallery for night and an exciting line up of international speakers from the creative world, it was a great way to kick off Studio 7’s presence in America. Our panel of guest speakers included NYC artist Adam Lucas (aka “Hanksy”), Acrylicize/Studio 7‘s Amber Bednall, Tina Ziegler from Moniker Art Fair, Brandon Wisecarver of Con Artist Collective, Poppy Simpson from Meural, Deming King Harriman from Superfine! The Fair, and our good friend from the UK, Calum Hall of Creative Debuts.
