Shaare Zedek Children’s Ward

2015

We designed a series of creative experiences throughout Shaare Zedek Medical Centre, Jerusalem, that enhances patient experience and creates welcome distractions that encourage engagement with art and design.

Using the sentiment that it doesn’t matter where you come from or what your background is the idea of hope drives us all, we represented this concept within a series of art installations that encapsulate the idea of looking upwards towards the sky; a space of limitless possibilities, under which we all live.

From the illustrated characters that adorn the walls of the children wards, to the nuanced colour of the Jerusalem sky in lighting installation, ‘Cycle’, the aim was to make children smile when they enter the space, offering a place of comfort and excitement.
