48 hours, 3 quarters, 7 minutes, and 11 seconds
Situated in the heart of the West End, CWM’s Heddon Street HQ is steeped in history. Named ‘Heddon Street’ after the Borough of Hedon in Yorkshire, of which Sir William Pulteney was the Secretery of Treasury for. William Pulteney held the record for Shortest Reign as Prime Minister at “48 hours, three quarters, seven minutes, and eleven seconds”. This playful twist on an old portrait appears not to be complete, as though the painter had stopped when he found out the subject wasn’t prime minister anymore.
