Once one of the busiest ports in the world, Wake celebrates the rich history of Canary Wharf and London’s Docklands – the remainders of which can be seen throughout the area. This hub of imports, exports, and manufacturing saw the arrival of thousands of boats every year, coming and going from long journeys at sea. Filled with hundreds of mirrored sculptural boats, visitors to the Columbus Building are greeted by reflected light, mimicking the effect of the ocean’s surface.
