Exploring and celebrating the UK’s exciting relationship with data-driven technology, LiveWire incorporates and encourages a playful element of human interaction. Viewers are invited to change the behaviour of the wall by tweeting #theswitchslough, followed by their choice of colour. The piece comes alive every fifteen minutes, showing off its capability to display a portfolio of moving patterns, with the colours acting in response to the temperature outside.
Situated in Slough, a growing centre of technology located just outside of London, this piece was conceived to represent the growth of the area, and attract tech start-up companies as new tenants to the building.
