Nationwide at The Post Building

We were recently commissioned by Nationwide Building Society to create a homely and collaborative brand experience at their new state of the art workspace, The Post Building in Holborn.

We sought to embody the heritage of Nationwide through the design scheme – incorporating LED lighting installations, feature walls, wayfinding, archival pieces and even stained glass – telling stories that are personal, human and familiar.

We were lucky enough to work very closely with Nationwide’s Archive team, who helped us to pinpoint important moments in the Society’s history. One-of-kind archival pieces were incorporated into the installation, which gives the entire scheme a real sense of authenticity through rich layers of narrative and attention to detail.

The craft-driven aspect of the project also gave us the unique opportunity to collaborate with a stained glass artist Jude Stark on the designs, – a first for Acrylicize – ensuring we respected the heritage of this particular type of glasswork.

By celebrating Nationwide’s unique culture, we worked together to create spaces not only to meet and discuss work but also places to socialise and collaborate, giving Nationwide colleagues more choice in how, when and where they work.
