INTRODUCTION

We delivered an art-driven brand experience across the building, from a feature wall and interactive lighting installation to a hand-crafted sign.

Working closely with architects Morey Smith, we delved deep into the brand archives to bring to life over 100 years of ground-breaking product, marketing, and packaging design. Curating our pick of pieces from the famous Atlanta inventory collection, we were also given the honor of creating original works for Coca-Cola’s new home and trusted to play with the brand in a way that had never been done before.

The jewel of the new site is our double-sided collage wall spanning three stories. Here, we mixed old and new, placing the likes of classic 1950s fridges next to never-before-seen artworks, handmade exclusively in our London studios. The wall is complemented by a three-story interactive lighting installation custom designed using over 5000 recycled coke bottles. Tying everything together is beautifully hand-pounced signwriting, executed by our friends at Brilliant signs.

The finished wall

An absolute labor of love. For a brand like this, we had to go all out.

ENVIRONMENTAL GRAPHICS

Ghost walls

Our series of bespoke hand-painted graphics represent so-called ghost signs, remnants of faded advertising that can still be found around the world. Each graphic was created using the original pounce technique recommended in Coca-Cola’s official brand guidelines from the 1930s.

We selected walls throughout the building where the designs could be cropped out, referencing the aesthetic of urban flux and redevelopment that have occurred over hundreds of years.

Amplifying the story

We created a film documenting our process from conception right through to installation, giving viewers a better idea of the scale and context of the piece, and allowing Coca-Cola to share the artworks with a larger audience.
