A Silly Poem
Without the efforts of Spike Milligan and Sir John Betjeman, Liverpool Street Station wouldn’t be the glorious architectural feat that it is today. The unwavering British duo led the 1979 conservation campaign to protect the station’s Victorian features. As a result, the building soon became the muse for some thoroughly British-humoured poetry, which this duo of prints celebrates.
