Pan-Mass Challenge Weekend 2026
We're proud to announce our next project with Dana-Farber: an exhibit to celebrate the achievements and ongoing legacy of the Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC).

The Pan-Mass Challenge is a Massachusetts-based bike-a-thon that raises more money for charity than any other single athletic fundraising event in the country. Always held the first weekend in August, this year’s event brought 6,500 cyclists and 3,800 volunteers from 43 states and 12 countries together on the roads across Massachusetts with one mission: to raise as much money as possible for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute to advance cancer research and care. Across 47 consecutive years, over $1.25 billion has been raised - a truly incredible achievement.
To get an authentic sense of the energy and emotion that makes the PMC a reality, Michelle, our Head of Studio in NYC, and I went to see what it was like on the ground. We were in awe of the inspiration, passion and dedication of the riders and volunteers, and were proud to support the event alongside them at the Babson College / Wellesley starting line, one of many weekend routes ranging from 25 miles to the full 177-mile, two-day ride from Worcester to Provincetown, the very tip of Cape Cod.
After a 3am wake up call, we headed out alongside a few of our friends at Dana-Farber, to welcome in the riders and spectators. We waved the riders off on the start line, and traced their journey via a number of the water stops. Our favourite spot was Cherry Street - a residential street whose community of people came out to cheer on the riders as they passed through, complete with a steel pan band, homemade lemonade, and bagpipes.
Michelle and I will be back next year, and this time we'll be sure to bring our bikes...
