Project Overview
A pioneering healthtech startup, Neko Health focuses on preventive health screenings and aims to revolutionize the healthcare experience through its state-of-the-art facilities and service offering. Our London team collaborated with Neko’s in-house design team to develop The Monolith, a 100 sqm illuminated 3D printed feature wall - one of the largest of its kind in the world - at Neko Health’s new health centre on Lamb Street, London. The piece is designed to be awe-inspiring, acting as a focal point within the space and a critical part of Neko’s brand and customer experience within their space, while positioning them as the healthcare company of the future.
The Brief
The brief called for something unparalleled in the healthcare industry - a piece that would captivate and draw people into the space while also serving as a symbolic barrier between the outside world and the health centre. It needed to feel seamless and ethereal, incorporating a sense of mystery and depth, challenging perceptions and engaging visitors immediately upon entry to the space.
The scale of the piece presented challenges - it had to cover a vast wall with a seamless integration into the building's architecture, while acting as a scalable motif that has the potential to be adapted for other locations.
"The goal was to make people feel intrigued and curious about what is beyond the wall."

Our Approach
Our production partner, FabPub - specialists in large-scale 3D printing, and close neighbours of our studio in East London - helped us to bring this vision to life. After over five weeks of prototyping the panels, and numerous adjustments to size, weight and depth, we developed a unique interlocking bracket system that allowed the artwork to stand without visible fixings, maintaining the wall’s clean, futuristic aesthetic. The production phase involved over 800 hours of 3D printing, creating 260 individual panels over eight weeks. The wall features 550 linear meters of LEDs, set to a cool 6500 Kelvin to enhance its ambiance. The scale of the lighting necessitated custom solutions to achieve the desired effect across such a large area.
The artwork delivers an elevated healthcare experience and memorable brand moment at Neko Health’s health centre, placing them firmly at the forefront of their industry.
