With a vast collection of curated artworks by local artists and bespoke pieces created in-house by our team, this project makes frugal look sexy.
Nestled in the heart of Munich, a stone's throw from the world-famous Oktoberfest, Schwan Locke is a hotel that values simple, beautiful design. By working with local artists and utilising innovative, economical materials, we were able to work with a fairly tight budget without compromising on quality or craftsmanship.
To ground the project in local Munich culture, a handpicked selection of female, Munich-based artists formed the core of our curatorial work, which sat amongst statement artworks displayed throughout the building. All of the artworks were created or chosen to align seamlessly with the understated interior scheme, providing wow moments for guests, and a hotel experience that stands head and shoulders above the rest.
